lost reminder and discussion post

Walt (Malcom David Kelley) and the others are shocked when Michael (Harold Perrineau) is brutally beaten, but only the non-English-speaking Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Sun (Yunjin Kim) know the truth behind the attack. Meanwhile Kate (Evangeline Lilly), Jack (Matthew Fox), Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and Sayid (Naveen Andrews) argue about where the survivors should camp -- on the beach, where they're more likely to be seen, or in a remote inland valley where fresh water abounds; and Locke (Terry O'Quinn) discovers Charlie's (Dominic Monaghan) secret.

"House of the Rising Sun" was written by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and directed by Michael Zinberg.

What the hell was wrong with Kate? She started acting like a pouty toddler when she found out Jack wasn't hitting on her. Don't try to tell me it was because of the whole cave issue.

I'd have gone to the caves with Jack. Where would you have stayed?
I'd have stayed at the caves as well. :) unless everyone went to the caves with them, then I'd stay on the beach. :) someone's gotta keep the signal fire burning, even though it's highly improbably that they'll be rescued.

that's why I don't think anything's wrong with Kate. you got to have hope. and she's still hoping that they'll be rescued.
I really don't know why she and Sayid were so upset. Jack didn't suggest that they give up hope and live in the caves forever, he was just being a realist. It was safer in the caves. And like he said, someone could keep watch in case a plane went by.
I know. but hey, they needed the conflict :)
Ah, so true. :)
